About me
I've always had a passion for playing guitar ever since my arms were long enough to strum a chord on my Dad's Dreadnaught acoustic.
This passion for playing evolved into a passion for repairing and modding. I spent my teenage years fixing vintage 60's & 70's guitars; Vox's, Teisco's, Ibanez's etc. I would buy and sell these guitars for a small profit which made for some pocket money to spend on better tools and equipment.
Eventually with the experience I had gained, combined with a frustration over the set up most guitar players seemed to have settled for, I decided to start setting up and repairing guitars.
I'm proud to say my work is constantly improving, and having worked with many experienced Luthiers over the last few years I've been able to absorb invaluable knowledge and experience that is evident in my work.

Guitar Setup

A professional setup improves your guitar’s playability, tuning stability, action and intonation, helping it feel easier to play and sound its best.
Instrument Restring
£15-25
A restring replaces old or broken strings, helping your instrument sound fresher and play better. Restringing is available for guitars, basses and other stringed instruments.
Fret Level Crown & Polish
£115-£130
A fret level, crown and polish corrects uneven or worn frets, helping reduce buzzing and improve playability, note clarity and string bending. For some guitars, it can be essential for achieving a properly balanced setup.
Refret
From £225
A refret replaces worn or damaged frets, restoring accurate notes, smoother string bending and consistent playability across the neck. It is often the best option when existing frets are too low or uneven to level successfully.
Electronics

From loose jacks and crackly pots, to pickup rewires I offer an extensive range of electronics services
Nuts & Saddles
From £45
Replacement nuts and saddles are made and fitted for electric and acoustic guitars to improve tuning, action and overall playability. Final price depends on the material and work required.
